Dreaming Winter Bears

These darlings reflect the potency of rest and what awakens within when we let ourselves dream.

Bears embody sacred sleep by hibernating for the darkest months each winter and even birthing and tending to their young during this time. They awaken to the outer world each spring with a renewed hunger for life.

Sleep is an everyday miracle and mystery, for as parts of our consciousness take a break, other parts come online for healing, rejuvenation, and insight. How we show up in rest can shape both our inner and outer worlds.

May these bear beings remind us of that.

Dreaming Bear #1 is a serene and protective Mama who carries the hues of summer berries in her hair. She is dressed in a purple jumpsuit, and her sleepy cub is wrapped in a scrappy cloth. She stands 14" tall, is stuffed with wool, and her hair is upcycled wool yarn. Her face is embroidered with the warm colors of spiced chai and fireside light, and her inner eyes are awake to the realms of dreamland.

Dreaming Bear #2 is a proud Papa who knows how to tend to both the soft and strong. He is dressed in a cotton jumpsuit of the softest upcycled flannel, has wool yarn hair and beard, and carries his cub in a warm scrappy flannel cloth. He stands 14" tall and is sewed from cotton and stuffed in wool.

Dreaming Bear #3 is a wild dreamer of cosmic dreams and connoisseur of the sweetest honey. He knows both the composting depth of darkness and the brightest light of summer, and though his eyes are closed, his inner sight is crystal clear. He is dressed in cotton flannel, stuffed with pure wool, and his hair and beard are upcycled wool yarn. He stands 14" tall and is hand-embroidered with love.
